Use and payment of GIFT CERTIFICATES

Regarding gift certificates offered on the website www.rabaischocs.com, payment for the order must be made by VISA or MASTERCARD. Éditions Blainville Deux-Montagnes Inc. reserves the right to:

  • To suspend all orders and deliveries in the event of non-payment;
  • To correct any inaccurate price or description, and to cancel or refuse any order with an incorrect price or description. Moreover, these corrections can be made even after an order has been accepted;
  • Éditions Blainville Deux-Montagnes Inc. cannot be held responsible for any misuse or fraudulent use of any payment method that was not detected by the verification process. You can shop in a few quick and easy steps:

    • Confirm that you have read the terms of use
    • Confirm your shipping method
    • You will receive your gift certificates according to your choice, either by registered mail or by presenting yourself at the offices of Les Éditions Blainville Deux-Montagnes Inc located in Saint-Eustache or Sainte-Thérèse.
    • Confirm your shipping address if needed
    • Confirm the transaction and add your special instructions

    • Visa and Mastercard credit cards are accepted.
    • Delivery

The customer’s order will be available in two ways:

First way:

Three business days after purchase, the customer, after showing valid identification, may take delivery at the offices of Les Éditions Blainville Deux-Montagnes Inc located at 53 rue Saint-Eustache in Saint-Eustache or at the offices of La Voix des Milles Iles located at 50B rue Turgeon in Sainte-Thérèse, within three business days after purchase according to the address on the order or;

Second way:

Within approximately seven working days when the chosen delivery method is registered mail;

Éditions Blainville Deux-Montagnes Inc. cannot be held responsible for any data entry errors and the resulting delays or delivery errors. In such cases, all costs incurred for reshipment will be borne by the customer.

Certificate balance check

The customer must verify the interim balance of the gift certificate with the issuing merchant. Les Éditions Blainville Deux-Montagnes cannot inform the customer of the interim balance if the certificate is used partially or consecutively by its holder. Les Éditions Blainville Deux-Montagnes only guarantees the value of the certificate at the time of its sale to the consumer.

Only the merchant who issued the gift certificate will be responsible for refunding the consumer/customer the balance of five dollars or less, if the consumer requests it. Éditions Blainville Deux-Montagnes disclaims all liability in this regard.

Non-compliance

The customer must notify Les Éditions Blainville Deux-Montagnes Inc. of any delivery errors or non-conformity of the products in terms of type or quality compared to the order form, either on the day of delivery or at the latest on the seventh business day following delivery. Any claims made after this period will be rejected without recourse.

Any claims not made in accordance with the rules defined above and within the specified time limits will not be taken into account and will release Les Éditions Blainville Deux-Montagnes Inc. from all liability towards the customer.

 

Refund or cancellation policy

The customer may request a refund or cancellation of their purchase within ten days of paying for the gift certificate . We will issue a refund to the credit card used for the original purchase, so the refund will be credited directly to the customer’s credit card. No refunds will be issued in cash or by check. We will not be held legally responsible if a merchant is unable to fulfill their obligations due to closure, bankruptcy, service interruption, or any other reason.

Applicable law

Your use of the website, its features, and these terms of use are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. You hereby acknowledge that any dispute arising out of or related to your use of the website, its features, or these terms of use will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the district of Terrebonne, Province of Quebec. You acknowledge that the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
